The Change Analyst plays a critical role at the delivery level, responsible for supporting the tactical implementation of change within the organization through the effective application of the Digital Services change management approach. Collaborating closely with Digital Services Delivery Teams, stakeholders, and business units, the Change Analyst assesses change impacts, provides detailed planning and analysis, and helps ensure the successful adoption of change initiatives. This role also focuses on identifying and mitigating change-related risks to support smooth transitions and positive outcomes.
About the Team / Service / Location
The Change Analyst role is part of the Change and Adoption function within Health NZ's Digital Services Directorate. Reporting to the Capability Manager - Change and Adoption, this position supports a national team dedicated to delivering effective change management practices across digital initiatives. The team works collaboratively with delivery teams, stakeholders, and business units to assess change impacts and drive the successful adoption of new ways of working. Focused on tactical delivery and risk mitigation, the team plays a vital role in enabling smooth transitions and supporting the broader digital transformation goals across the organization.
About You
You are a skilled change analyst professional with hands-on experience supporting the successful delivery of technology change initiatives. You bring a practical, detail-oriented approach and strong analytical skills, enabling you to assess change impacts and develop effective plans that support smooth transitions. Comfortable working in complex environments, you collaborate well with stakeholders and delivery teams to help mitigate risks and ensure adoption success.
