About the Role
The Senior Business Analyst operates at the delivery level, responsible for driving business analysis outcomes within complex or large programmes, projects, and products. This role collaborates closely with business stakeholders, delivery teams, and other Business Analysts to ensure requirements for change are thoroughly captured and translated into clear, actionable specifications. The Senior Business Analyst plays a critical role in aligning solutions with strategic business objectives and desired outcomes. Key responsibilities include analysing and documenting requirements, assessing business processes, and providing valuable insights to shape project outcomes that deliver maximum organisational value.
About the Team / Service / Location
The Senior Business Analyst sits within the Digital Delivery function, part of the broader Digital Services Group at Health New Zealand. Reporting to senior delivery leadership, this role is part of a national team dedicated to delivering robust business analysis that supports complex and large-scale digital initiatives. The team works closely with business stakeholders, delivery teams, and other Business Analysts to ensure that solutions are effectively aligned with strategic objectives. Committed to driving value and fostering collaboration, the team plays a pivotal role in enabling successful change and advancing Health New Zealand's digital transformation journey.
About you
You are an experienced business analysis professional with a strong track record of delivering complex projects within technology environments. You bring a methodical and collaborative approach, skilled in gathering, analysing, and documenting requirements across both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Comfortable facilitating large-scale workshops and engaging diverse stakeholders, you are committed to driving effective solutions that align with strategic goals.
