About the role :

Reporting to the General Manager - Logistics, you will be responsible for generating new business and supporting current business sales initiatives and projects across our Logistics Division (1PL, 3PL, 4PL) for new and existing clients.

To work with customers to develop and deliver Professional Services and / or Supply Chain improvements.

You will be required to develop a pro-active relationship with the clients and prospective clients; with a clear understanding of business needs and goals whilst ensuring both internal and external process support these needs and goals, and these are in line with the company's commercial activities / requirements in relation to maximising revenue and profit - teamed with ensuring the agreed KPI service standards and safety requirements are met and maintained.

Create trusted, long-term relationships with key customers

Drive ongoing improvements to enhance the customer experience

Align our service delivery with Commercial outcomes

Represent the business externally to key customers

Drive strategies and initiatives that improve employee retention

Meet or exceed the targeted sales figures ensuring adequate new business is obtainedDeliver revenue growth through targeted sales strategies in the logistics division

What you Bring :

At least 5 years' experience in a commercial role in a 3PL environment (essential)

Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify growth opportunities and manage risk

Demonstrated success in delivering revenue and margin targets

Excellent negotiation and contract management skills

Strong financial literacy and experience managing budgets and forecasts

Exceptional relationship management and stakeholder engagement abilities

Strategic thinker with the ability to translate plans into operational outcomes

Effective leadership and people management skills

High level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Proficiency in MS Office and business systems
