We’re looking for a Commercial Manager to lead strategic technology procurement across Chorus’ Chief Technology Office.
This is a pivotal role for a commercially astute professional with deep expertise in technology sourcing and supplier strategy. You’ll lead the development and execution of commercial strategies across a broad technology portfolio, including software, hardware, cloud services, and professional services, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technology roadmaps.
You’ll lead complex negotiations, manage contract lifecycles, and share market insights that inform strategic decisions. With a strong emphasis on strategic thinking, value creation, and risk management, this role suits someone who enjoys influencing outcomes and translating commercial strategy into effective delivery. A key part of the role involves drafting and reviewing contracts to ensure they reflect strategic intent, mitigate risk, and support business outcomes.
While deep experience in technology procurement is essential, exposure to broader categories (e.g. property or corporate services) is highly valued. This versatility will enable you to collaborate across other areas of Chorus beyond the Chief Technology Office, as and when needed.
