Job Description
We are looking for a registered nurse with surgical experience, to join our supportive team.
Ideally you will have neurosurgical experience within surgical wards, but you will have the opportunity to practice across a range of surgical specialities.
When you join our team, you will be professionally accountable for the exceptional quality nursing management of patients and ensuring the environment is safe and conducive to the wellbeing of patients, their whanau, staff and visitors.
You can expect a specific orientation programme developed by your Charge Nurse and will have on-going support so you can develop expert level skills.
This is a 1.0 FTE position but we can accommodate hours between 0.4 to 1.0 FTE.

Current Registration
Neurosurgical experience in within a ward environment is preferred but not essential
Be an excellent communicator, facilitator and advocate for patients
Be able to work with all our hospital teams in all aspects of our service
Actively seek opportunities for relationship, practice and service development
Have the initiative and ability to contribute to and support best practice standards.
