Overview

Health, Safety and Wellbeing Advisor (coordinator to advisor level). Support & assist HSW programmes across OfficeMax. Educate & implement strategies & support our teams understanding of HSW practice & behaviours.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of programmes to provide a safe and healthy working environment for all employees
• Build trusting relationships with internal staff and collaborate with team members to ensure regulatory compliance
• Assist with the collation of information, trends analysis, and the implementation of corrective and preventive actions, relating to all incidents and hazards that are reported
• Support hazard, risk, and injury prevention processes, in accordance with company policies and procedures, and applicable New Zealand legislation
• Facilitate the identification and reporting of hazards, and assist with maintenance of hazard registers
• Conduct incident investigations as directed by the Health, Safety and Wellbeing Manager
• Ensure company certification and accreditation programmes and processes are complied with e.g. ISO14001 and aiming to achieve ISO45001
