Our principal has decided to move closer to home and take up a new position in 2026. Therefore, Ngakonui Valley School board is now seeking our next dedicated and passionate leader to start in term 1, 2026.

This is a unique opportunity to join our valley community, based within the Ruapehu region and approximately 11km from the school gate to our nearest township of Taumarunui. We currently have 52 students across Y1–8. We are a small school with big heart.

We seek a new principal who is :
