Product Owner

Overview

We are looking for two Product Owners to join our Digital Software Engineering team, each playing a pivotal role in shaping and delivering our Strengthening the Core (STC) portfolios.

These are highly technical roles, bridging the gap between business priorities and technical delivery, ensuring that what we build is both strategically aligned and technically robust.

Responsibilities

Business - Products & Platforms :

Lead the technical delivery of core business platforms, products, and digital experiences.

Partner with business and operational teams to deliver customer value and business growth, while evolving systems and automation to support efficiency and scale.

Network Partners - Products & Platforms :

Drive the evolution and integration of network partner platforms, ensuring scalable, efficient, and secure solutions that enable seamless collaboration and strengthen partnerships.

As a Product Owner in Digital, translate business needs into actionable development work, ensuring solutions deliver on customer and business outcomes while standing on strong architectural and technical foundations.

Collaborate daily with developers, testers, architects, UX / UI specialists, other engineering teams and business stakeholders to bring clarity, alignment, and continuous improvement to everything we deliver.

How you'll show up

Proven technical background in delivering digital products, platforms, and full life-cycle solutions

Deep understanding of Agile methodologies (especially Kanban), including metrics and techniques for estimation, forecasting, and planning, with hands-on experience in Lean / DevOps environments

Strong analytical skills and familiarity with structured approaches (e.g. lean canvas) for developing value propositions

Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear technical specifications

Expertise in technical analysis techniques, tools, and methodologies

Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (architects, developers, testers, UX / UI specialists, and platform engineers)

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills

Experience in the technical delivery of Tahi applications or platforms is advantageous
