Join a well-known Kiwi brand based in Parnell. Their purpose-led culture is energised, fun, and values-driven and they’re looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their collaborative finance team. This role will start with a strong focus on Accounts Payable, but offers variety and the chance to broaden into month-end and other accounting tasks. CA support is available.

About the Role

This is a full-time, permanent Assistant Accountant position with a strong Accounts Payable focus to start. You’ll be joining a close-knit, agile team with a pitch-in culture. The business offers CA mentorship. With flexibility around start times this is a fantastic opportunity to grow your technical accounting skills in a brand you can really get behind.

Key Responsibilities :

• Process and code invoices, gain approvals, and take through to batch payments
• Complete supplier and balance sheet reconciliations
• Support month-end tasks : journals, accruals, and reporting
• Assist with Accounts Receivable where needed
• Contribute to AP system improvements and process efficiency
• Pick up ad hoc duties across the finance function, the team works fluidly

So who are you and what is your profile?

You’re a detail-oriented, technically minded accounting professional with experience in AP or an Assistant Accountant role. You’re comfortable with invoice processing and reconciliations, and you’re looking for a role that offers growth, support, and purpose.
