Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (Trades & Services)

Varcoe Air Conditioning and Heat Pumps are Auckland's leading Heat Pump and Refrigeration Specialist. Owner operated since 1975 with our showroom in Papakura. We pride ourselves on our quality, our quick and clean Heat Pump and Refrigeration installations with great after sales service. We only install top quality heat pump brands such as Mitsubishi Electric, Daikin, and Panasonic.

The opportunity

An opportunity has arisen in the Auckland Area which means we are looking for a motivated new member to take hold of the excellent opportunities. We are seeking an Operations Manager to join our Installations Team with our Showroom being based in Papakura.

What you will need to succeed :

Is a natural leader with experience managing personnel and efficient workflows.

Has great financial skills.

Has a mechanical aptitude and an eye for detail.

Can demonstrate wide experience in the Industry.

Is highly organised with a track record of achievement.

Has a professional and customer focused attitude.

Exceptional communication skills and able to have tough conversations with Employees, Customers, or Suppliers.

Drives a high-performance safety culture.

Proficient in SimPRO is an advantage but full training will be provided.

Further Requirements

Full Clean NZ Drivers Licence.

Must be able to pass and Maintain Ministry of Justice Checks and relevant Police and Security checks.

Eligible to work in NZ on a full-time basis.

Your key areas of responsibility will be :

Customer Service and administration

Staff management and labour efficiency

Monitoring quality of work and safety standards

Development and training of our Installation Personnel & Portfolios

Budget management and profit targets

Ensure compliance of Health & Safety policies and all legal requirements are being maintained.
