Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team in a permanent part-time role, based at our Waihi location.
Position Details
Location : Waihi
Schedule : 2 days a week (8 : 30am – 5pm, Thursday and Friday)
Covering leave for other team members on an as-needed basis
Key Responsibilities
Offer exceptional customer service to our clients.
Manage phone calls, triage and book appointments efficiently.
Possess a sound knowledge of RVMs (or be prepared to develop this) as part of our service to our farm clients.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
Qualifications that will greatly increase your chances of a successful application
Previous experience in reception work, particularly in a medical-aligned field.
Experience working in administration / customer service in a mixed animal veterinary practice.
Skills & Attributes Required
Compassionate and caring attitude towards animals.
Ability to make decisions independently.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, approachable.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent organisational skills and an efficient work manner.
Excellent IT proficiency, including previous use of Outlook and other Office apps, and appointment scheduling software.
