Our main sites are Auckland City Hospital, Greenlane Clinical Centre and Starship Children's Hospital, located in central Auckland.About the RoleExpression of interests are invited from Cardiology Registrar / trainee and Fellows, with experience or an interest in upskilling in Adult Congenital Cardiology.
This is a fixed-term role for 12 months.The primary function of this role is to provide clinical cardiac care for adults with congenital heart disease at a trainee specialist (Fellow) level to patients under the care of Te Toka Tumai atAuckland Hospital.
The Fellow will work with SMO and junior medical colleagues and themultidisciplinary team of nurses, technicians and other allied health staff to ensure the delivery ofoptimal, evidence-based care for adult patients with congenital heart disease.The Fellow role will include care delivered to inpatients and outpatients and procedural duties (withappropriate supervision and training) which may include echocardiography, cardiac catheterisationand cardiac MRI.
