This is a fixed term position for 12 months, up to 1.0 FTE, which can be tailored to suit the applicant and their training needs in Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine (AYAM).

This position is accredited as core A training in AYAM with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, so is ideally suited for a trainee of this programme.The clinician will provide clinical services to Centre for Youth Health (which may include Specialist Adolescent Clinic, Alternative Education Clinic, Transgender Clinics, and other clinical work delivered by the service in agreement with the clinician).

There is scope to match the successful applicants areas of interest and any professional development needs.There is also the requirement for working at Kidz First Hospital 1 in 3 weekends.At Kidz First we are committed to a philosophy of Whaanau-centred Care and strive to optimise health outcomes for Pepe, Tamariki and Rangatahi within our community.

This position is based at Kidz First Centre for Youth Health as part of a multidisciplinary team, with clinics across the Auckland Region.
