Te Kura Hakinakina (School of Sport and Recreation), Te Wānanga Aronui o Tamaki Makaurau Auckland University of Technology (AUT) is seeking an enthusiastic Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Health and Physical Education. This is a permanent, full-time position based in Tāmaki Makaurau - Auckland, New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and innovate in course delivery and curriculum development across a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate courses that have a focus on health and physical education.
• Develop research that enhances the knowledge base in health and physical education and aligns with our industry partnerships. You will also contribute to ākonga (student) supervision in work-integrated placements and postgraduate study.
• Engage meaningfully with ākonga, promoting Kotahitanga and creating a learner-centred environment that encourages academic and personal growth.
• Actively integrate Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles into teaching and research by collaborating with colleagues to uphold kāwanatanga, tino rangatiratanga, ōritetanga, creating culturally safe and inclusive spaces.
