Role and Responsibilities
Deliver culturally grounded teaching and learning experiences that reflect te reo rangatira and tikanga Maori approaches to health and wellbeing, and support tauira in their academic and professional journey.
Contribute to curriculum development, engage in research, and uphold the values of manaakitanga, whanaungatanga, and kaitiakitanga in all aspects of work.
Teach and support other sites and disciplines when required.
Qualifications and Experience
Master's Degree relevant to the field of Tikanga me Te Reo Maori or Matauranga Maori.
Adult teaching qualification.
Experience in the delivery of the prescribed courses and programmes specifically Tikanga me Te Reo Maori.
Networks with marae, iwi, hapu and / or community groups.
Te Reo Maori skills at an advanced level and an advanced knowledge and application of tikanga Maori.
