ROLE SUMMARY :

We are currently seeking applications for a fixed term, full time

Physical Education Teacher

to join our incredible secondary team for the 2026 academic year.

ACG Strathallan is a co-educational, non-denominational, independent school based in Karaka, Auckland.

We cater for students in Years 0-13, delivering the Cambridge Curriculums.

We require an experienced PE Teacher who is able to deliver motivational and differentiated lessons that cater for students' individual needs.

The successful applicant will enjoy working as a part of a supportive team, and be willing to contribute to the corporate life of our school.

The position will commence in term 1 2026 and finish end of term 4 2026.

Teach secondary year levels, ensuring you create an engaging learning environment.

Cater to the varied learning needs and abilities within your classes to maximise student development.

Develop excellent working relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.

Ensure the effective use of technology in teaching and learning activities.

Participate in wider school activities.

Ensure student's welfare and safety in every moment.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE :

NZ Teacher registration with supporting teaching qualifications (BA and / or MBA).

Experience in teaching PE education curriculum to a high standard.

Well-prepared, inspiring confidence in students and parents.

Flexible, committed, professional, hard working, team player.
