OverviewWe\'re looking for a strategic and people focused leader to join our Active Modes Group as Active Modes Growth Manager.
In this role, you\'ll empower a passionate team to deliver programmes that encourage more people in Tamaki Makaurau to walk, cycle and move actively, more often.You\'ll bring strong programme leadership and a collaborative mindset to ensure implementation of a diverse portfolio of work that currently includes innovative activation plans and community engagement models to maximise utilisation of the cycle network; investment into bike hubs network and cycle skills initiatives.
It also includes initiatives to encourage end-to-end multimodal journeys, as well as ensuring measurable outcomes are embedded that demonstrate the benefits of implemented initiatives and programmes.This permanent role offers the chance to contribute to AT\'s strategic goals and make a meaningful difference in how Auckland moves.Key TasksFoster a collaborative and supportive team environment, as well as developing the talent and capability of the team.Provide clear direction aligned with AT\'s vision, values, and strategic priorities.Oversee thoughtful planning, programme delivery, and outcome reporting.Manage programme, financial, and risk management practices in partnership with internal teams.Set and manage targets and delivery expectations with the team and stakeholders, making changes to priorities as circumstances change.Build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance outcomes for users.Collaborate with others to support seamless multimodal journeys, and shared customer experience strategies.Support inclusive storytelling and engagement to raise the profile of Active Modes.As a seasoned professional, you\'ll bring experience working in large-scale, purpose-driven environments.
You\'ll also bring : A relevant tertiary degreeIdeally, 10 years plus in a relevant discipline / s such as Engagement, Placemaking, Urban Development, Transport Planning, Community Development or GeographyProven leadership experience and 5+ years designing and delivering engagement strategiesAdditional qualifications (e.g. a Masters degree in Transport Planning or Social Sciences, Agile, IAP2 Certificate in Engagement) are a plus but not essentialIf you\'re excited by the opportunity but don\'t meet every requirement, we\'d still love to hear from you.At Auckland Transport, people are at the heart of everything we do.
