Belgravia LeisureNZThe Role
This role collaborates with the Belgravia Group Health and Safety Team, reporting to the Group Health and Safety Manager. Responsibilities include quality safety case management, advice, and technical support to operational and support teams. The role influences the design and architecture of the safety management system and empowers operational leaders to manage safety effectively. It is crucial to improving Belgravia’s safety performance and implementing the ‘Think Safe Act Safe Be Safe’ methodology. Additionally, the role promotes the Belgravia Leisure Triple A for Aquatic Safety methodology, a subset of the ‘Think Safe Act Safe Be Safe’ strategy.
Leveraging team expertise in general safety, aquatic safety, child safety, and injury management, the role promotes consistency and synergy in safety management, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement throughout the New Zealand division.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the implementation and operation of safety reporting requirements
- Provide incident investigation expertise for high impact / major incidents
- Liaise with safety regulatory authorities
- Provide safety-related data insights as requested
- Offer technical advice and assistance through Belgravia operational transition processes
- Drive safety compliance
- Steward the Belgravia Health and Safety management systems
- Lead safety cultural measurement, review, and assessments specific to NZ
- Provide New Zealand perspective on the ‘Think Safe Act Safe Be Safe’ strategy and ‘Triple A for Aquatic Safety’
