Alumni and Community Coordinator

Timaru Girls' High School is seeking a dynamic and creative Alumni and Community Coordinator to champion our mission of preserving history while building a vibrant future.

This is a permanent part-time role during school terms only, working 20 hours a week.

In this position you will bring our alumni network to life, cultivate strong community relationships, and spearhead fundraising campaigns that support exciting initiatives, including the redevelopment of our beloved hostel, "The House."

Responsibilities

Engage and grow the alumni network through outreach and communication.

Lead fundraising campaigns and initiatives to support school projects.

Create and share inspiring alumni stories across digital channels.

Manage the school archive and museum, preserving historical records and artefacts.

Coordinate events and activities that strengthen community ties.

Develop and implement innovative strategies to expand community support.
