Bar Manager

Overview

We are located in Eden Terrace / Uptown and we are seeking an experienced Bar Manager to oversee the daily bar operations. This person will have a love of wine, fine spirits and a passion for creating unique and delicious bespoke drinks as well as delivering the classics. Along with our existing team, this person will be confident in bringing their own unique personality and style, creating the right atmosphere to provide the required friendly, professional and engaging experience for our guests, as well as a positive, motivated and enjoyable work environment for the team. Immediate start if possible.

Responsibilities

Operational Management :

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the bar, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and safety, in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Monitor bar stock and inventory, manage ordering and supplier relationships to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
• Develop and maintain bar menus, including seasonal cocktails, specialty drinks, and promotions.
• Implement cost-control measures to maximize profitability.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and manage bar staff.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment.
• Ensure staff adhere to company policies, procedures, and customer service standards.
• Lead by example, fostering a strong sense of teamwork and accountability
