The Role This role is required to work overnight from 11pm to 7.30am the next day.Check in and Check out guests and maintain accounts ensuring that all charges are accurate and posted on a timely basisOpen communication channels between Hotel guests and all Hotel departmentsPositively respond to all queries (both internal and external), redirect to departments as requiredAssist with car / hotel doors and guest luggage and ensure timely delivery of guest car / luggageEnsure the appearance of the guest services desk, hotel lobby and forecourt is immaculately presented at all timesAssist with guest reservations and ensure guest requests are actioned and documented Assisting late guest arrivals and early departures ensuring that room allocations and check in check out processes follow set procedures and are customer focusedKnowledge in Opera Cloud PMS and balancing procedures.
Run reports and draw up statistical information as required by finance policies and proceduresCompile Night Audit day pack reports and documents in accordance with PCI Compliance, distributing to specific departments in a timely manner as requiredComplete computer system backups and save in accordance with finance policies and proceduresAssist night services including room service, OTS, car parking and porter services, ensuring guest arrivals and departures are as efficient as possibleQualificationsAbout YouMinimum 1-2 years experience in a similar role, preferably including 5 star luxury / lifestyle hotel environment highly advantageousProjects professional image at all times through personal presentation / interpersonal skills.Demonstrated experience in handling emergency situations, guest conflict and leading a team.Excellent written and communication skillsFull driver's licence is essential, as you will be responsible for receiving and parking guest vehicles between the hours of 11 : 00pm and 7 : 00amKnowledge of OPERA Cloud highly advantageousFlexibility to work rotating roster and work weekends and / or public holidaysPrior reservations experience is advantageous, as hospitality operates 24 hours a dayStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailProficiency in hotel management software and front office systemsAdditional InformationSO / BENEFITSStaff meal while on shiftUniform provided and launderedInternational accommodation and retail discounts across varying Ennismore & Accor Hotels propertiesFamily & Friends Hotel DiscountsOpportunities for further development and worldwide career progression within Ennismore / AccorAnnual reward of a free night's accommodation at the hotel and additional perks!
