We are committed to maintaining the highest standards in food safety and compliance while producing products that Kiwis love.The RoleWe're looking for a Quality Compliance Officer to join our Quality & Technical team on the night shift (10 : 00pm - 6 : 30am).

You'll work closely with production and compliance teams to uphold our Food Control Plan (FCP) and ensure our products consistently meet safety and quality standards.This role is largely independent on shift, but you'll collaborate with the wider team to maintain a consistent approach across all shifts.This is a full-time role, 5 days per week, with flexibility required across a 6-day roster (either Sun–Thurs or Mon–Fri).

The pay rate is $26–$28 per hour (depending on experience) plus a night allowance of $1.60 per hour.Key ResponsibilitiesVerify production records, checks, and compliance with the Food Control Plan.Conduct plant inspections, allergen and environmental swabbing, and product evaluations.Support production teams with quality and GMP compliance.Investigate and manage non-conformances, including product holds and corrective actions.Assist with audits, verification testing, and training.Stop or delay production where food safety or quality is compromised.Work collaboratively with other Quality Compliance Officers to ensure standards are consistently upheld across all shifts.What We're Looking ForSome experience or exposure to food safety, quality assurance, or a production environment (FMCG preferred).

Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and food safety systems, or willingness to learn quickly.Candidates with relevant qualifications, internships, or prior work experience are encouraged to apply.Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Confidence to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across shifts.Flexibility to occasionally cover weekend shifts depending on production needs.Why Join Us?
