This role supports the food safety and regulatory compliance activities across the site.

As the Quality Assurance Team Lead you will play an important role in driving continuous improvement of the food safety and quality management systems through improving quality compliance, reduction in quality costs and best in class quality / food safety performance.Key Responsibilities IncludeSupport the implementation of the site quality strategySupport food safety and regulatory compliance activities across the site.Proactively identify where quality management systems require improvementEnsure compliance with regulatory and customer standards across the quality, good manufacturing practice and food safety systemsLead 3-5 direct reports and provide a work environment that encourages our people to perform and grow to their full potentialLead and participate in internal and external audit programmes including the coordination of corrective actions and close outProvide support for quality issues, incidents & customer complaint investigationsMake operational decisions as related to Quality issues in production, including deputizing for the site Quality ManagerAbout YouTo be a success in this role we are looking for an experienced Quality lead with proven experience with the implementation and maintenance of food safety and quality management systems in a food manufacturing environment.Skillsets And Competencies We Are Looking For IncludeTertiary qualification in Food Science / Technology with advanced HACCP & Internal Auditor certificationsDemonstrated experience in people leadershipUnderstanding of food production processes and food regulation, preferably in the diary industryThe ability to identify and leverage opportunities to transform and improve processes and drive a quality culture across an operational workforceWhat We Can OfferYou will be joining a driven team of professionals who genuinely enjoy working together resulting in a highly collaborative and flexible work environment.
