About the role
An exciting position has become available, providing ongoing maintenance to Council's road, drainage and footpath networks. As the Team Leader Inspections and Footpaths, you will lead the team of asset inspectors in the inspection of essential Council assets, ensuring they meet the standards set out in our Road Management Plan. This role leads the way in identifying issues, driving continuous improvement, and maintaining accurate records of asset defects and maintenance activities.
About you
You will have proven experience in asset inspection and maintenance, preferably within a local government or civil infrastructure environment as well as strong competency in using asset management and data recording systems. Your commitment to workplace health and safety as well as the safety of the community will be a key in this role. Excellent communication and problem solving skills and the proven ability to continuously improve both yourself and the team are essential.
