Why this role matters : The Legal Secretary (known internally as a Legal Practice Coordinator) is a role for someone who is detail-oriented, enjoys being the go-to person, balancing multiple priorities, working with accuracy and discretion. You will work closely with the Corporate Commercial and Banking and Finance teams to ensure seamless client service and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Provide effective and professional team support and coordination across a wide range of needs from managing diaries to typing documents and assisting with compliance matters
- Coordinate meetings, domestic and international travel, and schedules
- Taking charge of the team’s monthly billing process and managing certain client engagement requirements such as file status reports
Qualifications
A high level of discretion and trustworthiness when handling confidential information and commercial sensitivityA solid track record, working in an administrative and coordinating capacityA proactive approach to your work with the ability to show initiative and work on tasks unprompted whilst anticipating the needs of the teamExceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage competing deadlinesHigh standards of professionalism, including communication, accuracy and attention to detailStrong team mentality, skilled at fostering and building internal and external relationshipsProficiency with MS Office and legal practice management systems (experience with monthly billing processes is an advantage)What do we offer?
