About The Role
The Medical Staffing Unit has an exciting opportunity for a Project Coordinator – Medical Staffing Unit (MSU), to support the Resident Medical Officer (RMO) Run Description Review across Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty.
This role works closely with RMO's across services, the Chief Medical Officer, Union Partners and other senior stakeholders.
Our ideal candidate will bring two to three years' proven experience in project or administrative coordination capacity, can successfully manage critical tasks, across multiple stakeholders ideally in health or public sector.
You thrive under pressure, manage tight deadlines, shifting demands, fluctuating workloads, with competing priorities across a range of activities.
Provide support and coordination in complex business environments with calm efficiency and a solutions-focused approach.
Staying exceptionally organised with excellent planning, time management and attention to detail with accuracy skills, makes you a great asset to the team in this fast-paced environment.
Integrity and professionalism ensure that confidentiality is always maintained, no matter the situation.
Your background in healthcare or experience coordinating a RMO workforce and associated SECA's will be highly advantageous, as well as understanding of legal frameworks and contracts to ensure compliance.
About the Team / Service / Location
You'll be joining a highly skilled, collaborative, and passionate team within the MSU, based at Tauranga Hospital.
This project coordinator reports directly to the Project Manager.
Required skills and experience
Project coordination experience (2-3+ years)
Experience in the Health Industry (preferred)
Excellent written communication and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Professional, proactive, and flexible approach
Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks
Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset
