Overview

St Patrick’s College, Wellington is seeking a passionate Mathematics teacher for a full‑time, permanent position to commence at the start of term 1, 2026. We are a Catholic boys’ secondary school (Y9-13) with a proud tradition of academic excellence, strong values, and holistic education. Applicants are expected to support, uphold and be positively involved in the Catholic special character of the school.

The ideal candidate will :

• Be a qualified and registered teacher in New Zealand (or be eligible for registration)
• Have strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching mathematics at all year levels, including NCEA
• Be committed to delivering high-quality, engaging and student-centred learning
• Be willing to contribute to the wider life of the College, including co-curricular activities
• Uphold and support the Catholic special character of the college
