Overview

St Patrick's College, Wellington is seeking a passionate Mathematics teacher for a full-time, permanent position to commence at the start of term 1,

We are a Catholic boys' secondary school (Y9-13) with a proud tradition of academic excellence, strong values, and holistic education.

The ideal candidate will :

Be a qualified and registered teacher in New Zealand (or be eligible for registration)

Have strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching mathematics at all year levels, including NCEA

Be committed to delivering high-quality, engaging and student-centred learning

Be willing to contribute to the wider life of the College, including co-curricular activities

Uphold and support the Catholic special character of the college

Responsibilities

Teach mathematics and statistics across year levels (Secondary and wharekura as applicable)

Deliver high-quality, engaging, student-centred lessons

Contribute to the wider life of the College, including co-curricular activities

Support and uphold the Catholic special character of the college

Qualifications

Qualified and registered teacher in New Zealand (or eligible for registration)

Strong subject knowledge in mathematics and statistics

Ability to teach across year levels and handle NCEA requirements
