OverviewNorthland Kindergarten Association (NKA) seeks a head teacher (kaiako) to lead a committed team of kaiako at Comrie Park Kindergarten Whangarei commencing 7 January
The kindergarten operates five 6-hour sessions Monday to Friday catering for 40 children between 2 and 6 years of age.
Comrie Park is an Enviroschools kindergarten and are committed to environmental sustainability through the programme that they offer.Northland Kindergarten Association is seeking applications from qualified, experienced kaiako who have the following attributes : Leadership, management, and mentoring skillsPedagogical leadership knowledge and experienceVision and a forward focusAbility to establish authentic and respectful relationships with children, whanau and colleaguesSelf-motivation, initiative and ability to work collaboratively with othersGood communication with all members of the wider kindergarten communityStrong focus on inclusiveness, recognising and valuing the rich diversity of the tamariki, whanau and local communityKnowledge and understanding of the Enviroschools initiativeComrie Park Kindergarten is part of a network of 25 kindergartens within the NKA.
