We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative fixed-term full-time teacher to join our dedicated Junior School team, teaching in either the Motuhara (Y1–2) or Mana (Y3–4) Syndicate for the 2026 academic year.

Essential skills and qualities

We are looking for a teacher who :

• Has proven expertise and enthusiasm for teaching in the Y1–4 learning area .
• Is skilled in creating a stimulating environment that accommodates diverse learning needs.
• Demonstrates a commitment to the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi , incorporating Te Reo Māori and Tikanga Māori into daily classroom practice.
• Is a strong collaborator who will work closely with their syndicate team on planning, assessment, and curriculum delivery.
• Shows a proactive approach to professional development and is adaptable to new learning initiatives.
• Can develop positive, open relationships with students, whānau, and the wider school community .
• Can actively lead or contribute to a co-curricular area (e.g., sports, arts, music, Kapa Haka).
