Technology teacher

Secondary (Years 7–15) / wharekura, Certificated teacher Technology

We require an enthusiastic teacher to teach food and hospitality to our learners. The ability to teach up to Level 3 Hospitality, and experience in the hospitality environment will be seen as an advantage. Please state other curriculum subjects.

Our kura is a co-educational high school in Upper Hutt, Wellington. We are known for our innovative curriculum and the diverse range of experiences we offer ākonga. Our School of Hospitality has been a ‘beacon of success’ for our school over the past decade and includes purpose-built, commercial facilities. Many students use these courses to pathway to industry and careers in hospitality.

Applicants must hold a current NZ Practising Certificate. Experience in teaching the NZ Curriculum is essential. If qualified overseas, please provide your NZQA International Qualifications certification with your application.
