St Michael’s School is a state integrated Catholic primary school serving Y1–8 in the heart of Taita. We are seeking a faith-filled, experienced educator to join our team as a Scale A teacher in our Y7–8 class. This tagged position requires the successful applicant to give guidance and provide effective leadership in religious education and observances throughout the school.

We are looking for a leader and teacher who :

• Has proven experience in teaching and leadership within a primary Catholic school setting
• Brings a genuine commitment to our Catholic faith, values, and mission
• Has experience working successfully within a Pasifika community, building strong relationships with students, whānau, and parish
• Has expertise in Structured Literacy and mathematics, with a track record of lifting achievement
• Is willing to contribute fully to the corporate life of the school, embracing the many opportunities for service and leadership
• Has excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills, with a passion for inspiring staff and students.
