We have a relentless focus on achievement, learning and continuous improvement.The OpportunityReporting to the Marketing Manager, this role will be responsible for planning and delivering brand and product marketing initiatives that drive growth, customer engagement, and marketing relevance for James Hardie's portfolio of products and systems.It is a great opportunity to work cross functionally with teams to deliver results in line with business plan goals.What You'll DoDevelop actionable market insights by analysing market trends, customer needs, and value chain dynamics in collaboration with Sales, Marketing and Technical Teams, to inform product and marketing decisionsSupport strategic portfolio planning by identifying growth opportunities, assessing market potential, and contributing to investment recommendations that align with business objectivesConduct regular competitor analysis to monitor market activity, understand competitor offerings and pricing, and inform marketing strategyTranslate product gaps into clear propositions for the New Product Pipeline, working with the Marketing and Technical ManagersCoordinate and implement product launches in the NZ market, collaborating with the AU product team and local stakeholdersDevelop and deploy engaging content tailored to Architect & Designer (A&D) and Builder to drive product awareness and specificationSupport the execution of trade marketing initiatives, campaigns, and promotions aligned with product and brand objectivesManage aspects of the product portfolio, ensuring alignment with channel, installer and customer needsCollaborate with internal teams and third-party suppliers to optimise value creation and deliveryUse customer and market insights to develop tools, collateral, and content that support product consideration and conversionEnsure brand guidelines and messaging are consistently applied across all communications, events and materialsWhat you'll bringTertiary qualifications in Marketing, Business or related fields5+ years relevant experience in brand and / or product marketing, ideally within a B2B or building material environmentExperience developing and executing marketing campaigns and content for B2B audiences (e.g. Architects, Designers, Builders)Ability to manage product portfolios, including launches, lifecycle planning, and alignment with market needsApplied knowledge of go-to-market strategy and product positioning, with a focus on execution and measurable outcomesDemonstrated ability to draw on diverse inputs to develop actionable marketing strategies with clearly cascaded tacticsProven ability to work across commercial and technical functions, aligning stakeholders to deliver shared objectivesExperience leading cross-functional project teams to meet marketing and product goalsStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent assignments while maintaining high-quality executionStrong interpersonal and oral / written communication skills with the ability to relate well and cooperate with stakeholders at all levelsSolid understanding of brand principles and the marketing mix, with experience developing content and collateral for trade audiencesStrong negotiation and relationship management capabilities, including experience working with agencies and industry bodiesWorking at James HardieAt James Hardie, Our People Are At The Centre Of Everything We Do.
