Link4 is a well known eInvoicing company that is seeking a Wellington based BDM.The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with organisations to build new business for the company.
This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills.
You should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales of eInvoicing services to Central Government Departments and their suppliers, along with Government and Universities.You will be responsible for lead generation and lead qualification activities but may have support from other team members at times.You will generate new leads from your contacts and through consultative conversations.This is a largely autonomous role where you will be provided with the necessary tools of the trade, training, and support of the Link4 team.The RoleMix of cold and warm outbound callsBooking appointments to meet face-to-face where possibleFull sales cycle from initial call through to closing the dealDemonstrations of the solution and key featuresResponding to tendersSales reporting to managementAll administration in relation to the roleWhat we're looking for : High level communication skills - written and verbalDemonstrated experience in a B2B SaaS sales related roleUnderstanding of the procurement process for Central Government - highly regardedPrevious experience within the finance or accounting sector - highly regardedAbility to work autonomouslyStrong understanding of AP and ARUnderstanding of eInvoicing - highly regardedConsultative sales approachStrong listening and problem solving skillsSelf motivated, driven and a self starterAbility to engage at C LevelJoin Link4 and be part of a growing company shaping the future of eInvoicing in New Zealand.
