Responsibilities

Assist customers with purchases and provide advice on aquarium fish care, feeding, and tank maintenance

Maintain cleanliness and health of aquariums, including water changes, tank cleaning, and monitoring water quality

Feed and care for aquarium fish and other aquatic animals according to established schedules

Receive, unpack, and properly acclimate new stock of fish and aquatic products

Operate the cash register and handle customer transactions accurately

Assist in maintaining overall shop cleanliness and display arrangements

Provide after-sales service and support to customers

Follow safety and hygiene protocols in handling aquatic livestock

Requirements

Friendly, approachable, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Willingness to handle live animals and perform physical tasks such as lifting equipment or cleaning tanks

Able to work on weekends and public holidays if required

Good communication and interpersonal skills
