Are you a creative designer with a passion for sport, social media and communications? Athletics New Zealand is on the hunt for a talented Design and Content Coordinator to help shape how we show up to the world, from social media to email newsletters, websites to event communications.

Athletics New Zealand exists to deliver great athletics experiences across Aotearoa. Steeped in history, athletes in the famous black singlet have created many of New Zealand’s most unforgettable sporting moments. As the foundation of all sports (run, jump, throw), athletics supports a strong high-performance programme, a nationwide network of clubs, and diverse participation pathways.

We are also leaders in major events, delivering national championships in Track and Field, Cross Country, Road, Mountain and Trail Running, as well as the iconic Red Stag Rotorua Marathon.

About the Role

This is a hands-on, creative role at the heart of our marketing and communications team. Reporting to the Content and Communications manager, you’ll be responsible for producing high-quality design assets, coordinating email communications, and supporting content across our digital platforms.

Your Impact

• Create graphics and visual assets that align with our brand and bring campaigns to life.
• Design and send newsletters and email campaigns to our diverse audience
• Maintain and update our websites with accurate, engaging content.
• Help produce and share content across our social media channels.
• Support content creation during key events.
