We are on the search for a Recruitment Advisor for a highly-regarded educational institution in Wellington.

They actively look for an HR Advisor to join their small HR team.

The Role

This is a busy, full-time onsite generalist role, where you'll be involved in the full employee lifecycle.

Responsibilities

End-to-End Recruitment – the hiring process, spanning from identifying a staffing need and sourcing candidates through to final selection and onboarding.

HR Compliance & Child Safety – maintaining police vetting schedules and ensuring child safety & working with children requirements are met.

System & Process Management – onboarding staff, maintaining records in the HRIS software Citation, and managing other schedules.

Payroll Support – gaining familiarity with the payroll system to ensure a seamless fortnightly process.

What Will Make You Stand Out?

While we're looking for around three years of combined recruitment and generalist HR experience, team fit and attitude are most important.

We are looking for someone great with technology, able to rapidly pick up new systems and processes, proactive, and ready to contribute to a positive, supportive culture.

Expertise in Child Safety Checks and police vetting processes as well as experience with the HRIS software Citation is a definite plus.

The HR Manager loves a bit of banter so a sense of humour is a must!
