OverviewAn exciting opportunity for an experienced payroll professional looking for a unique role that offers a mix of BAU payroll expertise, project delivery, and problem-solving, with plenty of scope to develop your leadership and technical payroll skills.
This role is pivotal in both steering the remediation of historical leave entitlements under the Holidays Act and ensuring the payroll function is fit for the future.ResponsibilitiesDeliver the organisation's holiday remediation requirements, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a smooth transition into BAU.
Around 80% of your time will be focused on helping to deliver these requirements.Act as SME and escalation point for the payroll team.Provide expert technical payroll advice and reporting.Support BAU payroll processes and compliance activities.Work across HR, Finance, and Legal to deliver accurate and auditable outcomes.About YouExperience in payroll operations and / or remediation projects.Solid understanding of the Holidays Act, PAYE, ACC and IRD compliance.Confidence in analysing payroll data and providing clear reports and advice.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve complex issues.A proactive, switched-on attitude with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.The BenefitsRoleThis is a fixed-term role with potential to become permanent, depending on the state of the payroll function at the end of the project.
