- About the Role
- As the Professional Lead in Physiotherapy, you will provide strong, visible, and strategic leadership to inspire colleagues and the wider health workforce, ensuring a culture of clinical excellence.
This role will oversee the delivery of safe, high quality patient care across the Physiotherapy Services in the Te Tai Tokerau region.
You will will work with the hospital and community services, prioritising preventative care and equitable access for Maori, Pacific and underserved populations.This role is a permanent, part time role working 24 hours per week.

About youTo be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of 7 years experience as a Physiotherapist, with knowledge of current standards of practice and experience relating to clinical service provisions.Relevant allied health tertiary qualification, with current NZ annual practising certificate (if required)Relevant postgraduate qualificationsCurrent NZ drivers licencePrevious experience in project management quality improvement initiatives, change management, including drafting business casesProven knowledge and understanding of the hospital, the local community and issuesWorking at Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.We embrace a workforce that is diverse and inclusive so that we are better positioned to understand and service our community
