About the Role
We are looking for an experienced New Zealand Registered Senior Physiotherapist to join our team working within our Cardiothoracic and Vascular Intensive Care Unit ( CVICU) team at Auckland City Hospital. This is an exciting and unique role for New Zealand to work in the national centre for heart and lung transplantation. CVICU also provide regional care for pre and post-operative patients undergoing cardiac and thoracic surgical procedures. This role also provides regular opportunity to work across The Department of Critical Care Medicine (CVICU), Coronary Care Unit (CCU) and Otorhinolaryngology (ORL) ward which are also covered by the Physiotherapy Critical Care Team.

Responsibilities
This role will also see you performing the below duties :
Our Physiotherapy service is made up of passionate and supportive Physiotherapists motivated to improve the quality of life and health outcomes of the communities we serve.
The Critical care team is made up of 12 Physiotherapists who work primarily across our two main critical care units. In CVICU you will be working alongside an Advanced Clinician Physiotherapist, a fellow Senior Physiotherapist and 2 core Physiotherapists.
Our wider Physiotherapy team consists of 90FTE, working across both inpatient and outpatient settings.
