  • About the Role
  • We are seeking dynamic and enthusiastic Core 1 and Core 2 rotational physiotherapists to join our highly skilled and dedicated physiotherapy team at Health New Zealand / Te Whatu Ora Waitematā.This is a full-time role, and this programme gives you the opportunity to participate in a wide range of clinical settings to further develop your skills and competencies in physiotherapy assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, and discharge planning across North Shore, Waitakere Hospital and Wilson Centre sites.We have a lot to offer you : to see Position Description for full details)
  • Development of core physiotherapy skills through a rotational programme
  • Excellent support from clinical coaches, and senior clinicians in all areas of practice
  • Support for development and growth clinically and professionally through personal objectives.

  • Networking with allied health clinical leaders, senior, staff grade and rotational clinicians across the organisation.

  • Credentialing for weekend work : required to work 3 weekend days / 3-month roster

  • About the Team / Service / Location
  • We offer a two-tier rotational scheme within Health New Zealand / Te Whatu Ora Waitematā at three sites across the district.Core 1 rotational positions are 4 months long and offer experience in :
  • Acute medical
  • Respiratory
  • Acute surgical
  • Acute trauma and elective orthopaedic
  • Older Adult Assessment Treatment & Rehabilitation (AT&R)Core 2 rotational positions are 8 months long and in addition to the above also offer experience in :
  • ED / ADU
  • ICU / HDU
  • Acute stroke unit
  • Outpatients MSK, Respiratory, Neuro, Vestibular
  • Trauma Orthopaedics
  • Neurological rehabilitation
  • Early Supported Discharge and Rehabilitation Service (Community based rehabilitation)
  • Paediatric rehabilitation at the Wilson Centre (the national paediatric rehabilitation provider)
  • About you
  • As a Rotational Physiotherapist you should have :
  • Professional Registration and be eligible for an Annual Practicing Certificate with the Physiotherapy Board of New ZealandPlease click here for position description
