Are you a creative storyteller with a knack for creating engaging social content and building vibrant communities? Bargain Chemist is looking for a Social Media Coordinator to join our team and help bring our brand to life across digital platforms.
What you will be doing :
- Social Media Strategy & Execution : Work closely with the Head of Marketing to develop and implement our social media strategy across platforms including Meta, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Content Creation : Plan, create, and schedule engaging content that reflects our brand voice and connects with our audience. We are looking for someone who is comfortable filming and featuring in content.
- Community Management : Monitor and actively engage with our online community. Responding to messages, comments, and mentions to foster meaningful customer interactions.
- Influencer & Creator Partnerships : Build and manage relationships with influencers and content creators to amplify our reach and engagement.
- PR Coordination : Assist with the execution and distribution of press releases and public relations activities.
- Performance Analysis : Track and analyse content performance using insights and data to refine and optimise our social strategy.
- Team Collaboration : Work closely with the Marketing and E-Commerce teams to ensure alignment across campaigns and initiatives.
- Event Support : Help plan and manage events that strengthen brand awareness and community engagement.
What you bring to the role :
A minimum of 18 months hands-on social media experience , including planning, creating, and publishing content across platforms.Strong written and verbal communication skills , you're confident crafting captions, engaging with audiences, and collaborating with internal teams.Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with efficiency and attention to detail.Self-motivated with a proactive mindset, you take initiative, meet deadlines, and follow through.A team player attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.A natural sense of creativity and a passion for staying on top of digital and social media trends.Experience using editing software to create high-quality, engaging visuals and videos : Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, CapCut Pro : Short-form video editing for TikTok / Reels.Confidence using key social media platforms and tools for content publishing, community engagement, and performance tracking : Meta Business Suite (Facebook & Instagram), TikTok Creator Tools / Creator Centre, LinkedIn for BusinessWhat's in it for you?
