We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Recovery Facilitator to join our team in Taupo.
This is a casual position that offers the opportunity to support whaiora from the Southern Lakes region of Taupo, Turangi, and Mangakino.
Our Taupo Respite service provides a four-bed crisis respite, offering a nurturing environment focused on building independence and community connection.
In this role, you will :
Empower tangata whaiora to lead their own recovery journeys.Foster community and whanau networks.Support individuals to develop strengths and resilience.Support greater autonomy and life satisfaction.
Shift times are made up of the following :

You are a compassionate, resilient individual who thrives in a dynamic, team-based environment.
Your genuine passion for supporting people experiencing mental health challenges sets you apart.
To be successful, you will need :
The ability to work independently and as part of a small, tight-knit team.Flexibility and reliability to work on a 24 / 7 rotating roster (including weekends and night shifts)A Level 4 qualification in Health and Wellbeing (or equivalent), or a willingness to work toward one.A full New Zealand driver's license.
What you will bring | Nga tohungatanga mo tenei turanga
National Certificate in Mental Health Support Work (at least Level 3) or equivalent (and willingness to undertake Level 4 within the first year of employment).
Experience working with people with mental health and addictions issues.Team player with the ability to work autonomously.Attention to detail with excellent documentation skills.Full NZ driver's license and clean Police check.
