About the Company

Our client is a leading global chemical manufacturing company, recognized for its innovation, industry leadership, and commitment to sustainability and safety.

We are currently sourcing an experienced Site Leader for a Fixed Term contract, to oversee their MHF facility in Tauranga. This is a key leadership role, responsible for managing all site functions, including Production, Safety, Engineering, HR, and Finance, to ensure the site operates safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with regulatory standards.

About the Role

As the Site Leader , you will have full accountability for the management and strategic direction of the facility, ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance. You will drive performance improvements, foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, and manage the site’s operational and financial performance. Additionally, you will serve as the senior authority on site, representing the facility to internal and external stakeholders.

This is a full time position for a Fixed Term period of 18 months, and you will be responsible for 13 direct reports, including Operators, Engineering, Maintenance and Administration staff.

With a proven ability to manage complex operations, you bring a hands on approach to leadership, focusing on both short term performance and long term sustainability. You are passionate about safety, innovation, and continuous improvement and have the capability to lead diverse teams in a manufacturing / production environment.
