Tiler

We are a growing tiling company based in Bay of Plenty. We have been very busy with various projects for our clients and are looking for two tilers to join our team.

Key responsibilities :

• Preparation work including examining tiling plans, measurement and marking of work surface
• Waterproofing (full training given on our preferred system);
• Using tile-cutting tools to cut and shape tiles needed for edges and corners, and around objects such as fittings and pipes
• Floor and wall tile installation;
• Installation of tile trims; Grouting (both cementitious and epoxy); Silicone installation;
• Floor leveling as required; Shower base screeding; Mitering edges.
• Laying ceramic, clay, slate, marble and glass tiles on external and internal walls and floors to provide protective and decorative finishes.

The job location will be in Tauranga – depending on each project, will be in different places within Tauranga.

Hourly rate : from $30.50 to $40.00 per hour. Minimum 30 hours per week.

What do we offer?

Van provided from our shop to work site. Tools provided. Uniforms and all PPE Provided. Hourly rate, pay is flexible depending on experience and skill level. Monday to Friday 30 hours to 45 hours per week, hours could change depending on work project. There could be some shorter days and some long days. Also, we do some weekend work from time to time. So ideally an applicant could be flexible and able to work weekends from time to time.
