Senior / Research Engineer (Equipment) (FAB), (NSTIC), IME

A qualified candidate will be self-motivated with strong technical and analytical skills, and possess a practical, hands-on approach to engineering development and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities :

• Independent management of scheduled and unscheduled equipment maintenance and Post PM / CM process recovery (Wet clean / etch, Dry Etch, Anneal, CMP, CVD, Metrology etc)
• Establish effective preventive maintenance program and troubleshooting guide.
• Manage PM schedule and adopt best practice to maintain and improve tool uptime, MTBF (Mean Time Between Failure) and MTTR (Mean Time To Repair)
• Vendor management (scheduling, quotation, PM / CM report preparation on vendor activities and equipment training)
• Drive continuous improvement project (CIP) to achieve better process quality and lower cost.
• Documentation of Equipment related SOP (PM / CM SOP, BKM, RA etc.) and provide technical training to related staff.
• Support internal audits as needed for ISO certification
• Teamwork and risk assessment with process development and process control team and / or vendor to ensure tool baseline repeatability.
