Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work.

You will have your own reliable transportand be available to work at different sites, sometimes at short notice.In this role you will support and manage the administration of inpatient and outpatient services and referrals in accordance with the Counties Manukau Womens Health guidelines.This will includethe following tasks : Admit, transfer and discharge women in the care of our service, and schedule and book appointments for themWelcome visitors to our wards and outpatient clinicsAnswer phone calls and carry out general administrative dutiesMaintain accurate and up to date information on iPM and Maternity Care Information System (MCIS)Manage multiple electronic inboxes that include requests from clinical and clerical staff and patient enquiriesFollow the Womens Health approvedbooking andscheduling process and specialty protocolsEnsure waiting lists are reviewed daily, there is good communication regarding waiting times, identify possible booking problems and deal with these appropriatelyAbout YouYoure known for staying calm under pressure, thinking ahead, and being the go-to team member who always gets the job done.

Your previous experience in a healthcare or hospital setting means you understand the importance of accuracy, discretion, and responsiveness.Key skills and experience youll bring include : A minimum of one years experience in administration in health or a related serviceStrong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple prioritiesProficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel intermediate level)Excellent verbal and written communication skillsA positive and high level of customer focus and a `can-do attitudeExcellent organisational skills and attention to detailsWorking at Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
