The Role
As a Business Development Manager (BDM), you will play a crucial role in expanding our client base and revenue streams.
You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with key stakeholders, and providing tailored One NZ and Solution Squad IT & Telco solutions that meet client needs.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the telecommunications and IT sector.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
Promote and sell One NZ and Solution Squad Telco & IT services to businesses across New Zealand.
Conduct market research to identify trends and competitive offerings.
Collaborate with technical teams to deliver customised solutions for clients.
Prepare proposals, presentations, and sales reports.
Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management in the Telco and IT industry.
Strong understanding of Telco and IT services.
Promote and sell IT solutions, including managed services, cloud infrastructure, Microsoft 365, and cybersecurity offerings
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work independently and drive sales results.
Passion for technology and a customer-first approach.
Strong problem-solving skills and strategic thinking.
Valid NZ driver's license
