About the role
Are you ready to lead and define the next generation of creators? We are seeking a creative technology teacher who won’t just follow a curriculum but will design and drive it. This is an opportunity to inspire our talented students to design, develop, and create real-world technological outcomes.
Bring your expertise in coding, robotics, and electronics and we will ensure that you have all the tools you need to bring big ideas to life. You will be instrumental in fostering authentic, hands-on learning that grows conceptual understanding and essential learner dispositions.
We get that teaching is complex and we continually strive for improvement. You will be supported by a small, collaborative specialist team and an approachable lead teacher. Regular CRT and targeted professional development will ensure you have the time and added know-how to be successful in your role.
If you have a genuine passion for working with intermediate-aged learners and the vision to run a world-class technology program, we want to hear from you.
Applicants MUST have NZ residence, NZ citizenship or a valid NZ work visa.
The terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position is set by the relevant collective agreement. The base salary for trained and registered teachers will range from $61,329 to $103,086, depending on the applicant’s qualifications and experience.
