We are a well‑resourced and supportive intermediate school in West Auckland seeking an innovative, collaborative, motivated and positive food technology teacher to join our Technology Department, commencing 28 January 2026 . The position involves teaching composite Y7–8 half classes, including client technology schools.

We are looking for a NZ registered teacher with strong curriculum knowledge and effective Assessment for Learning practices, who is committed to ongoing professional growth and collaboration within a supportive and collegial team.

The successful applicant will :

• Be passionate about teaching food technology to emerging adolescents
• Demonstrate strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, health and safety in the learning environment
• Create a well‑structured, engaging and inclusive practical space
• Model our school values of Whanaungatanga, Ako, Kaitiakitanga and Atawhai in all aspects of their practice.
